Short Vid on Kew Gardens London

The Royal Gardens in Kew and Richmond upon Thames in London contain 120 hectares of natural beauty. It started in 1759. It has The Palm House (the most important surviving Victorian iron and glass structure in the world) and the Temperate House (largest surviving Victorian glasshouse in the world) among others. Kew Gardens has the world’s largest collection of living plants. its living collections include more than 30,000 different kinds of plants, while the herbarium, which is one of the largest in the world, has over seven million preserved plant specimens.

In July 2003, the gardens were put on the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Kew Gardens initiated in 2000 the Millennium Seed Bank Project.
